These sanctions are a badge of honor for the nation and will not deter the Yemeni people from fulfilling their duty in supporting the Palestinian people. The Front condemns the imposition of sanctions by the United States and Britain on senior officials in Yemen “under the pretext of their role in supporting or directing attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.”
The Front considers these sanctions as a badge of honor for them, the Yemeni people, and the entire Arab nation, affirming that such sanctions are worthless and ineffective and will not be able to stop the great Yemeni people and their armed forces from adopting bold and courageous positions in support of the Palestinian people and pressuring to stop the ongoing genocide war on the Gaza Strip.
The Front clarified that the leaders of the Zionist entity, the U.S. and Britain, who are partners in the genocide war against our people in the [Gaza] Strip, are the ones who should be pursued as war criminals and have sanctions imposed on them, especially since the Yemeni Armed Forces’s stance was clear in targeting Zionist ships or those heading to the Zionist entity as a means of pressure to stop the aggression, and they did not attack any ships or endanger navigation in the Red Sea.
The Front concluded its statement affirming that Yemen will remain a source of pride and appreciation for our Palestinian people, the Arab nation and all the free people in the world. These sanctions will not deter it from performing its national duty in standing alongside the grieving and oppressed Palestinian people.
