Message to the International Assembly against Imperialism in Solidarity with Palestine, on Jan. 21, in New York City.
Dear comrades, we sincerely greet you on behalf of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine (UPPU)!
Exactly 100 years ago, on Jan. 21, 1924, our Great Teacher died.
The tragic and great date of the death of the unforgettable Vladimir Ilyich Lenin is not only, and not so much, a cause for sorrow, but a reminder for socialists of all countries of the need to unite their efforts in the struggle for a new world at a new stage of human development, already in the 21st century.
The words of Vladimir Ilyich, spoken by him 100 years ago, are invariably relevant in the era of imperialism, that is, today: “Capitalism is always darkness. Capitalism is always death. Capitalism is always war”.
Nothing has changed in 100 years. And we, socialists and communists of Ukraine and in the world, still have no other way but this: only to fight the reaction policy, only to strive for a world red dawn, only to follow Lenin’s precepts!
We wish you every success in the difficult field of defending communist principles in the very center of world imperialism!
You and we are looking in the same direction. You and we are breathing the same air, and this air smells like an approaching storm, a thunderstorm that will sweep away the cursed capitalism from the face of the Earth and plant the banner of the great Lenin over the planet!
