New York City: ‘Keep Jin Fong restaurant open!’

A demonstration was held in New York City’s Chinatown March 25 to protest the mass firings of 180 restaurant workers when the Jin Fong restaurant closed. The workers are members of the 318 Restaurant Workers Union. The owners of the restaurant are the Chu family, bankers and landlords in Chinatown and the Lower East Side, Manhattan, N.Y.
