In Chicago, ‘Healthcare = Life’

Chicago, June 27 — “Don’t Kill Us: Healthcare = Life!” Chicagoans, including dozens of differently abled people, participated in a vigil this evening to demand an end to the assault on health care being crafted by Congress. Speakers bore witness to the vast suffering already being inflicted by the current system, explained that pending proposals to cut back Medicaid would result in thousands of unnecessary deaths and demanded Medicare for all.
