Venezuelan Consul General Jesus Rodriguez Espinoza was a special guest speaker from Chicago at the April 27 weekly meeting of the Moratorium NOW! Coalition to Stop Foreclosures, Evictions, and Utility Shutoffs and the Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice in Detroit. Rodriguez discussed the U.S. destabilization campaign against the Bolivarian Revolution aimed at reversing the gains of the revolution since 1998. Rodriguez was given a T-shirt in support of the freedom of Rev. Pinkney by Yvonne Jones, retired city of Detroit employee.
