REAL terrorist in the world today…

Will the Real Terrorist Please Stand Up!” is the title of an excellent Saul Landau video revealing the terror campaign against Cuba waged from Florida and the five Cuban men now in U.S. prisons going on 15 years who infiltrated anti-Cuba groups in Miami to prevent them from slaughtering Cuban civilians.

It could equally be the response to the upcoming announcement of the 2013 list of countries that the United States claims are “state sponsors of terrorism.” No surprise, the biggest perpetrator of global terror won’t be listed!

Can you guess? Need a hint? Who has hundreds of military bases on every continent? How about drones raining death and destruction? Or depleted uranium? Who is the top seller of armaments, has thousands of nuclear weapons, is adept at waterboarding and other forms of torture including rendition and solitary confinement, and runs an entire international military academy responsible for training brutal Latin American coup generals? It isn’t Iran, Syria, Sudan or Cuba. Neither is it the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, possibly re-added to the list this year.

This arbitrary list triggers a chain reaction of federal economic sanctions and trade prohibitions by the U.S. State Department. These “include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions. … [And] also implicates other sanctions laws that penalize persons and countries engaging in certain trade with state sponsors.” Chlorine used to prevent disease by purifying drinking water has been banned as a “dual use” export, for example.

Continuing to include Cuba would be particularly odious. The United States government actually demonizes socialist Cuba while harboring convicted bomber Luis Posada Carriles. The U.S. refuses to extradite him to Venezuela where he has yet to stand trial for the very first midair bombing of a Cuban passenger plane, flying out of Barbados in 1976, that killed all 73 people aboard. The facts alone should make perfectly clear which government is the biggest terrorist in the world.
