Building for Utah May Day

Dozens of anti-capitalists gathered April 26-27, the weekend before May Day, International Workers Day, to take part in a two-day activist teach-in in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The teach-in focused on the challenges for building the U.S. labor movement, women workers advancing the struggle and also the fight against tar sands strip mining proposed in eastern Utah.

The conference was put together as part of the Salt Lake City May Day Convergence.
