Published May 17, 2006 10:13 AM
Follow these steps to subscribe to Workers World podcasts on iTunes.
First
Make sure that you have iTunes version 4.9 or higher. Earlier versions do not support downloading podcasts. You can get the latest version of iTunes from Apple for free. The software is free, but the "Music Store" feature is reported to collect information on what you play in iTunes and sends this information back to Apple in order to direct sales according to your interests. If this is a problem for you and you don't need iTunes for your iPod, you can use the 100% free Winamp to listen to the Workers World podcasts. See "Subscribe to Workers World podcasts with Winamp."
Second
On the Workers World home page find the RSS Podcast icon. Right-click on the icon (control-click on a Mac). Choose "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut":
Third
Open iTunes, select the "Advanced" from the menu at the top and choose "Subscribe to Podcast"
Fourth
Right-click and select Paste (or type Control-V on Windows or Command-V on a Mac). That will enter the URL for the Workers World podcast into the text area. Then click on OK.
